Last weekend, I braved flying standby with a 16 month old for a quick trip to CO. And made our first choice flights too! Audy baby was a champ. He fell asleep during the last 2 minutes on the Friday flight out there (which left our house at 8 and arrived at 11pm!) Of course then he woke up for the drive to our friends' - so much excitement! His abbreviated night left him tired all weekend. I was sure he'd sleep on the flight home Sunday, but he's an energizer bunny! We had a blast picking pumpkins and playing in their yard!
All three kiddos - can you tell which one needs a nap?
This is the look you get from the kid who fell asleep during the pumpkin picking and only woke to play in the hay!
I hope these two become as good of friends as their moms are!
I had so much fun watching my baby play with someone older and bigger than him. He usually dominates in play, but Connor kind of rocked him a few times. It was so good for him!
Yes, I know this picture is blurry. This picture and the next - the joy in that baby's face - is why we need a yard and not a patio. It's in the plans...
And check out that beautiful bush in the background! Does that say fall or what?!
See? Pure joy! He'd be outside playing all day if he could.
Yes, CO has beautiful sunsets.
Loving this stage. Lots of smiles.
