My baby is no longer a baby!
I know you can't tell by this series of photos (unless you look closely at the hair!) that this was a MARATHON photo shoot. Why? you may ask? Our little one has learned to use his feet as God intended - so now he knows he doesn't have to sit for mama's photos!
His newest talents include waving hello and good by (with different hands, different ways - but he can do both at the same time!), clapping (we clap for EVERYTHING these days, but mostly while singing "If you're happy and you know it..."), pointing and screaming/grunting - telling us where he wants to be carried and what objects he wants to be given, and of course, walking.
He's not so talented in the sleeping department. Mama is exhausted. And just when I think we've figured it out - and I get a full night's sleep, we come down with fevers that have me on edge so I don't sleep again (nor does he.) I know this too will pass, but I'm in some need of serious sleep!
We've found a sitter we love for when I am working - she plays and entertains baby all day long. He's not napping there (which is probably our reason for not sleeping well at night), but I have to choose my battles. I'm elated that he's happy with the sitter and that he's right down the street from me. It's only for one more month, so I'm sure we'll make it!
| The timestamp on the first photo was 3:23. This one is stamped 4:05. I guess 45 min of photos will do that to you, eh? |
