Our little man is seven months old already. Well, seven and half by now. I think I missed posting months four and five. Maybe I'll get to them someday. Don't you want to eat that face?! He's more and more fun.
He's crawling. Like a mad man.
He thinks he can walk. But he has to hold on to something. So he falls a lot. And explores everything.
He eats oatmeal in the morning and two veggies every night.
He has four teeth. Well, three and a fourth that is ready to pop through today.
He still uses the potty, when mom and day remember.
He likes to be where ever the people are. He just wants to be near them!
While he has no problem going to bed at 8, he wakes 2-3 times a night at least. We're going to work on that soon. Mama's tired. But she loves comforting her little boy too.
He'd rather watch the evening news than any silly kid show.
He's wearing 9-12 month clothes. 21 pounds. Geeze.
Jeans don't fit him. He's just to round in the middle.
And as of today, our little man is the proud owner of tubes in his ears. We finally found an ENT that has been super helpful. He wanted tubes first and this morning we got up bright and early to have them put it. The whole thing was traumatic for mama, but he seems to be doing fine. The doc said that there was a ton of fluid in there that came out - so maybe, hopefully, that is/was the cause of the hearing loss. Doc said he will be a new kid - he'll be able to hear now! How great would that be?
There was another mama in the waiting room with us whose son was having his adenoids out. She said he threw up every time he ate because he couldn't breathe. Their doctor came out and said they were huge - and it was no wonder he was having so much difficulty. She seemed so relieved. Mama Bears do what they have to do - she said she'd felt like a crazy woman trying to get someone to listen to her. I was relieved for her!
I'm just happy my baby's on the up and up...

Hope the ear tubes help. I had then as a kid too. I can't believe he is 21 pounds! Cedar weighed about 20 pounds last time we took him in a few weeks ago! Amazing how fast they grow.
