Contradictions

I have been made aware of how contradicting my thoughts are. Tonight, amidst the fun and confusion of the holidays, I really am all over the place.

Why didn't I know more about Mike Huckabee months ago? We should have made him President. Or at least the Republican nominee. At least he's got a good book. I heard him talking on NPR the other day and wondered "Who is this genius?" before they said his name. He really does seem to know what he's talking about. You should listen to him talk about it.

Of course, I still have no idea what I think about politics. My friend Dan posted this video on his blog. I think this guy is a Christian socialist, but I don't know much about him. Can you even be a Christian socialist? Would Jesus have been a socialist? Or would he just have encouraged people to be good to each other AND work hard? Like I said, I just really don't know where I stand.

And seriously, where is Obama planning to get all this money? Heck, I'm all for less taxes, but how the heck is he going to pay me more AND save my mortgage? Get this article that a friend gave me this week. Should I sacrifice my integrity because the government says its the right thing to do?! Is having morals idiotic now?!

See...all over the place. I must drive this world nuts because I can't nail myself down!
