This year, our school district decided to give us the two weeks after Christmas off. It TOTALLY stressed me out...for a while. Yes, that last week was a wash as far as learning goes because I had so much to do. But now? I'm home free. Nothing to worry about, nothing to do. It's nice. It's nice to be able to wake up and do NOTHING!

And last year I spent a week anticipating the big day, hoping for a huge new year.

And then spent a very depressing week disappointed by the way things turned out. This year? No time to anticipate. Hence, no disappointment. My holiday was good. As much as I had time to anticipate.

Happy New Year!
