always watching

always watching magnify

I remember being a high school cheerleader, picking my nose or by underwear from my butt (who knows?) and asking a friend if she thought anyone was watching. "Someone is ALWAYS watching, Ang, always."

They are, aren't they. People, any kind, are watching our lives and making conclusions based on what we DO and what we SAY and how we react to them. I do it too.

I was accused of being "religious" today. Yes, it felt like an accuasation. The bell rang for lunch to end, so I hope we can continue the conversation another time. But there was a room full of people watching, judging, concluding about my reaction to their comments. I recognize, however, that my words are only 10% of what people are processing. I hope they watch the 90% of my life -- the one that I hope is beyond just being "religious."
